Alexa Glatch is finally back

Now 29, the American got to the top 100 in singles and doubles in … 2009.

In 2005, she reached the singles and doubles finals at the US Open juniors.

Since then, a car accident. Four hip surgeries. Two knee surgeries.

Spotted at Wimbledon last year, Glatch told Tennis.Life she hoped to be back in the fall. It took six more months.

A wild card at a $25K in Osprey, Fla. this week, she beat world No. 13 junior Hurricane Tyra Black Tuesday.
