MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

Indian Wells: funnest doubles ever

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The singles is pretty good, too.

But Roger the Fed with Stan the Man in doubles is an added bonus.

The Swiss combo is just one of the fun teams at this year’s event, as usual for Indian Wells.

The only ones missing are Cilic and Ivanisevic, maybe Michael Chang and Nishikori, and Nadal and Uncle Toni (although associate coach Francis Roig is here this week, and he’s done this sort of thing before).

Among the others:

*Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Nicolas Mahut (too bad Tsonga isn’t playing with his IW BFF Richie Gasquet – Gasquet is playing with the Israeli Jonathan Erlich).

*Juan Martin del Potro and Marin Cilic (as in Dubai, no doubt del Potro signed up for dubs as a way to test out his bad wrist before – if – he plays the singles. They get Nestor and Zimonjic first round, so that’s what you’d call a test).

*Feliciano Lopez and Tommy Robredo (is Lopez so five minutes ago for former partner Milos Raonic? LOL. Everything Spanish is no más).

*Novak Djokovic and young Serb Filip Krajinovic

*Milos Raonic and Ernests Gulbis

*Vasek Pospisil and Spaniard Pablo Andujar (with whom he was practice HARD Tuesday night. Come to think of it, Pospisil was practicing with Fetchin’ Feli today – he’s the new go-to Canadian for the Spaniards!)

*Juan Monaco and Gael Monfils

and, finally …

*Andy Murray and brother Jamie. Oops, no, just kidding. Andy Murray and Jonathan Marray.
