INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Canadian Aleksandra Wozniak has had a good week so far in the California desert – enjoying having family with her at a tournament – including her 7-year-old twin nieces, for the first time in two years – and breezing through her first round.
Saturday, she takes on rather a more challenging customer in No. 15 seed Sabine Lisicki, currently being coached by Martina Hingis.
It’s a matchup between two women being coached by former very successful female players, which is a pretty rare thing.
