DelPo on court in Indian Wells (pics)

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Yes, Juan Martin del Potro did get on court and play some tennis at the BNP Paribas Open.

Unfortunately, it didn’t happen in singles.

Here are some pics of his match with partner Marin Cilic of Croatia against the great team of Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic.

It was a close one, but they lost 4-6, 6-3, [10-8]. One thing’s for sure: they were colourful.

In the end, who knows if DelPo and Cilic would have even played another round. While there were few outward signs of it, del Potro said his ailing left wrist didn’t feel good during the dubs.
