MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

My top 3 memorable shots, by the Fed

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Asked during his press conference after beating Alexandr Dolgopolov to name the two or three shots he’s hit in his career that stand out, Roger Federer needed about half a second to come up with these.

In no particular order, here they are.

1) The sidewinding overhead winner that blew by Andy Roddick, in 2002 at his hometown tournament in Basel.

2) The lob winner against Andre Agassi in Dubai.

“I flicked it behind me.  I don’t know how I did it.  I think I couldn’t even believe it.  I looked back and it was over his head for a winner somehow.”

3. The Tweener winner that game him match point against Novak Djokovic at the U.S. Open.
