A ginger-looking Gasquet practices at RG

PARIS – Countrymen Richard Gasquet and the Magnificent Michael Llodra™ practiced together on Court Suzanne Lenglen Tuesday.

There were quite a few folks watching, who had come to see the qualifying.

And if that’s how Gasquet looks, it doesn’t look great.

He certainly didn’t push it hard. But he looked awfully ginger when he had to push it, or stretch, and especially when he had bend down low.

Gasquet apparently won’t make the decision about whether or not to play the French Open until Saturday. Perhaps he’s hoping for manna from heaven.

In the meantime, countryman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga would inherit the fairly crucial No. 12 seed (avoiding the top four in the fourth round of the draw) if Gasquet withdraws.
