INDIAN WELLS – Still a lot of players around – and a very friendly convo between Serena Williams and Milos Raonic.
The two were practicing side-by-side on the pair of courts that keep fans (and media) at a distance – the one we call the “Sharapova Secret Court”, Court 9 was where Serena was practicing, with Raonic next to her on Court 10.
After both were done, they had what appeared to be quite a nice, smiley conversation that went on for several minutes.
Which is very cool.
During the practice, Williams (who has not practiced on site much and has not appeared on the practice schedule when she has) appeared to have her share of issues.
As you can see, she had the right knee wrapped up in what appears to be similar fashion to what it was when she was home practicing in Florida, although you can’t see it all because of the spandex pants.
She hasn’t been wearing that tape in matches.
