IW ’17 pics: Bouchard warms up for Beck

INDIAN WELLS – Once again, Genie Bouchard found herself practicing next to Roger Federer at Indian Wells.

But while Federer was just hitting up with Lucas Pouille because of his first-round bye, Bouchard was prepping for a stadium court night-session match against Annika Beck or Germany.

She arrived about 4:15 pm; in the end, the scheduled 7 p.m. start time was pushed back because of the last day-session match between Alison Riske and Donna Vekic, and the time required to exchange what was left of the day-session crowd for the night session.
