Stowe Mountain Lodge Classic returns

In a perfect marriage of setting and synergy, the Stowe Mountain Lodge Classic returns for a second edition, the week before the US Open.

It’s run by Grand Slam Tennis Tours, which in 2016 began partnering with the Vermont-based agency Topnotch Management.

The agency can help provide players. And it gives them a scenic, low-key place to prepare for the year’s final Grand Slam.

Spain’s Albert Ramos-Viñolas won the six-man event last year.

This year, Frances Tiafoe and Yoshihito Nishioka are already confirmed; the rest will also be main draw players in New York.
