When the ATP and WTA Tours descend upon Cincinnati in three weeks, they’ll find the venue has been substantially upgraded.
The main difference will be for the posh fans.
A new $25 million, 40,000 square foot South Building will offer 800 new fancy seats with upgraded concessions, on three levels.
And 252 of them will be indoor box seats, so fans can watch the tennis in the typically steamy Cincinnati heat in air-conditioned comfort.
The middle tier (396 seats) also will have seats facing the adjacent Grandstand court.
An open house Thursday will allow patrons to check it out.
