During a match in the Shanghai Challenger semifinals, the umpire actually had to call an official to sit in the stands to control the Chinese fans.
Japan’s Hiroki Moriya (he won, 6-7, 7-6, 7-6) complained they were calling out before his serves. It seems they also were dropping water bottles just at the wrong times.
You can watch the match here (drama begins about 2:56).
It was fairly nuts. When Moriya won a point: almost silent. When opponent Zhe Li did (in addition to his loud “C’MONN!” whenever Moriya would make an error) big applause.
