What are the odds that two tennis players of similar age, from the same country, would have such similar names?
You’ve heard of Lucas Pouille, the 24-year-old who hit the top 10 before Miami this year.
And then there is Lucas … Poullain.
They have little in common besides blue eyes, chin fuzz and great hair, though.
Poullain, who turns 23 next month, is ranked 1,100 spots lower at No. 1132. The local wild card lost in qualifying at the Vendée Challenger last weekend.
He was all-ACC for Florida State as a redshirt senior this year.
They should definitely play doubles.
