Amid concerns about the coronavirus outbreak in China (and the travel challenges), the ATP Tour has already announced it is cancelling four Challenger tournaments scheduled for China in March.
Qujing, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Zhangjiagang, which were to take place the weeks of March 2, 9, 16 and 23, will not be played. The ATP will “monitor the ongoing situation” and possibly reschedule them later in the season.
There are no WTA tournaments in China until after the US Open.
The International Tennis federation has cancelled four 15K and one $60K Futures events in March, and postponed four junior tournaments.
