The two quarterfinals scheduled for Wednesday at the Miami Open are a contrast in draw outcomes.

Daniil Medvedev vs. Roberto Bautista Agut was an expected results, on paper. The No. 1 seed vs. the No. 7 seed.

The other semifinal, No. 21 Jannik Sinner vs. No. 32 Alexander Bublik, is definitely the result of a series of upsets (not only at their own hands).
