Neither had many players in the qualifying. But the Belgrade tournament at least had enough to have a round.

In Charleston, the four players entered went automatically into the main draw, including one player ranked No. 1540.

For all the talk about the lack of tournaments and playing opportunities, here’s a golden one at a good level.

But they can’t scare up enough players. There’s a significant disconnect somewhere.
