MORE TENNIS THAN YOU EVER NEEDED

ATP Tour – Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021 final results

Nice of the Paris Masters peeps to schedule Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime first up – right when his Canadian contemporaries take on Russia in BJK Cup in Prague.

(By nice, we mean … not nice). But after another slow start, he got through.

Later, there was Gaël Monfils and … Novak Djokovic – who returned to action and was pushed hard by the usual solid effort (so often in vain) by Marton Fucsovics.

A lot of three-setters, which meant that the final match of the day didn’t start until well after 11:30 p.m.

(Here’s Wednesday’s OOP – it’s loaded)
