Davis Cup Finals Day 3 – Hello, double sessions (final results)

With the weekend, come double sessions every day at the Davis Cup Finals.

For diehard fans in North America, that meant a 4 a.m. start ET for the first session.

For players involved in the later sessions (with a long day session) it means that Jannik Sinner, Fabio Fognini and Cabal and Farah began their (not particularly meaningful) doubles match after midnight Saturday night.

Novak Djokovic was back in action, with Serbia playing against a Zverev-less Germany. He played doubles as well, a deciding doubles. But he and Nikola Cacic were beaten by Krawietz-Puetz.

And big favorites Russia enter the fray with what was a fairly undramatic tie against the game but overmatched Ecuador.
