All of the pre-Australian Open action is taking place in Australia.
And it’ll be about as confusing as last year, with two WTA 250s AND an ATP Tour event going on concurrently at Melbourne Park.
On the plus side, for simplicity’s sake, the events will be “Melbourne Summer Set 1” and “Melbourne Summer Set 2”. A year ago they paid tribute to a host of places in Australia that were not known to those outside the country. And it was hard to keep them straight.
In Adelaide, which returns in 2022, there is a 500 that is loaded up with WTA top 10 players, as well as another ATP Tour event.
Let’s strap in. Because a lot of tennis is coming.
Leylah Fernandez is up in Adelaide at the end of the day.

WTA does not deserve support. Almost impossible to find Melbourne schedule of play and impossible to print it if you are lucky enough to find it.
I’m IN Melbourne, andin the media centre, and and it’s not much easier for me. To be fair to everyone it is complete chaos.
