MELBOURNE, Australia – Denis Shapovalov was, and remains, the only Canadian to compete in singles on the alternate days; he won his first-round match on Monday.
He’s back for his second round against Soonwoo Kwon of Korea, who had a wild one against cramping teenager Holger Rune in the first round and pull it out in five sets.

Hi Stephanie. What’s your take on all the booing(?) that went on at Murray’s and Kyrios’ matches?
Didn’t hear it. I was doing radio stuff and focused on other courts.
But it wasn’t booing.
It was a chant. Not a good chant.
