An all-Estonian quarterfinal singles sked in the night session in Tallinn Friday, which meant that its two main players have been extremely cooperative in winning their first to matches to get there.

Kanepi had the tougher one, facing Karolina Muchova, who is slowly returning to form after injury. She needed a third-set tiebreak to get through, but set up an all-Estonia semifinal on Saturday.

In Parma, the entire day was washed out because of rain, with the players having to double up on Saturday.
