MELBOURNE, Australia – All eight seeds have made the quarterfinals in Adelaide.

Which is only the second time in 18 years that’s happened on the WTA Tour.

With a caveat – the seeds are No. 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 after all the withdrawals.

In Hobart, three of the eight seeds have made it.

But watch out for wild card Sofia Kenin.

(Adelaide is 15 1/2 hours ahead of Eastern time; Hobart is 16 hours.
