The two Canadians finally got on court for singles, after a nice win in doubles in Friday.

Both were on Arantxa Sanchez Stadium, with Félix Auger-Aliassime second up, and Denis Shapovalov fourth up.

Both went out in third-set tiebreaks. Not good.

And there was also Tsitsipas vs Thiem, which also went to the third-set tiebreak and was quality the whole way, until a little doubt crept in for the Austrian at the end.
