As it’s the third day in Mallorca, some of the top seeds are showing up – to wit, No. 2 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and No. 4 Adrian Mannarino. No. 2 is out, No. 4 survives.

Also – it’s the singles swan song for Feliciano Lopez, who got a wild card and faced the very capable Aussie Max Purcell (who is a Wimbledon doubles champion, it should be noted). But Fetchin’ Feli got through, and lives to play another Aussie on Wednesday.

At Eastbourne, No. 7 Sonego and No. 9 Van de Zandschulp were in action. And both exited.
