Only Tatjana Maria got through a bad weather day in Warsaw Friday. So she was the only one who didn’t have to play a double header on Saturday in Warsaw – quarterfinals and semifinals.

All but Swiatek-Wickmayer got through; they’ll have to finish up on Sunday.

In Hamburg, where the main draw started Sunday, they’re already at the finals stage with a wild card German teenager going all the way to the final, only to be denied by 32-year-old Arantxa Rus, who won the first WTA tournament of her career.
