TORONTO – Tennis Canada celebrated the 2022 Davis Cup in a ceremony before the night session, which featured Milos Raonic and Vasek Pospisil.
Pospisil was an integral part of the big win; Raonic, who has dealt with so many injuries in his career, has played just one tie since 2015 (as it happens, in Toronto)
In all, there are three Canadian in action in singles, and Alexis Galarneau also played doubles, with countryman Gabriel Diallo.
Despite a dodgy weather forecast, they got through everything. And Raonic and Monfils, the comeback kids, were the stars of the day.
