Also too bad that none of the Canadians who were in the qualifying managed to get through to the main draw.

But those who are here hope to do some damage.

As for the rest of the Canadians, there certainly are a number of tournaments to play – especially on the women’s side.

But not many are playing, except at the lower level $15K ITFs.

The one exception was Marina Stakusic, who took a $25K title in Spain with the loss of only one step.
