A number of the players who starred for their countries in Davis Cup in Europe last weekend have made their way to China – likely tired, and also jet-lagged to the max.
They include Andy Murray, Cristian Garin and Matteo Arnaldi in Zhuhai, along with Emil Ruusuvuori and Dusan Lajovic in Chengdu.
Murray drew a Chinese wild card ranked No. 668, who was making his ATP level career debut. He, and most of them, made it through while Ruusuovuori withdrew, and Arnaldi lost a marathon.
(Chengdu and Zhuhai are both 12 hours ahead of EDT)
