MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

Canucks This Week – Week ending Dec. 17, 2023 (final results)

Canucks

Canadian Keira Blackbeard – whom we hope to meet some day – is still at it in the Futures factory that is Antalya.

But this week she got through the qualifying – there was a walkover in there – and is into the main draw of the $15K Futures event in Turkey.

And the immortally-named Love-Star Alexis also got through to a main draw – in her case, a $25,000 ITF in Kenya.

There are bigger events going on for the women, including a WTA 125 in Loire and a good-sized ITF tournament in Brazil.

But no Canadians at those.
