Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who pulled out of the doubles in Melbourne after losing in singles, is back and playing Katie Boulter in Linz.

And Zheng Saisai, who returned this week after some 15 months away, didn’t get far. She lost her first-round singles qualifying match, 6-3, 7-5, to Tikhonova. But she has withdrawn from the doubles with a wrist injury. Tough.
