There are some faces that haven’t been seen for awhile reappearing today – notably young Czech Jakub Mensik, who has missed some time.

And Dutch player Tim Van Rijthoven, who doesn’t even have a ranking he’s been out so long, is back.

Van Rijthoven was outside the top 200 two years ago when he won ‘s-Hertogenbosch as a wild card. He had one career tour-level win. And then he got a wild card into the main draw at Wimbledon and got to Manic Monday.

But Van Rijthoven hasn’t played since Rotterdam in Feb. 2023 – so almost a year and a half. Good to see him back.

But while they got things done in Stuttgart, rain seriously curtailed play in the Netherlands on Monday. So Tuesday will be busy.
