No. 1 seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe got right back at it after winning their second-round match Saturday.

They were looking for a quarterfinal in the women’s doubles against an unseeded, kind of random duo. It was actually quite trickky, but they got through.

And Mirra Andreeva and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, both eliminated from singles and unseeded, looked like they could be a surprisingly effective team in a doubles draw that has seen its share of upsets. Until they went out today.
