It’s a feature of the ATP Tour that older coaches and practice partners don’t have the level to give the top guns a run for their money in practice.

And so, the players often hit with each other, especially in those days before the bigger events.

So through the years, Nadal has had plenty of moments with friends, and friendly foes.
