Gabriel Diallo sought the first ATP Tour-level final of his career, after upsetting No. 2 seed and Cana-Chilean Alejandro Tabilo on Friday to reach his first career semifinal.

He as up against No. 4 seed Francisco Cerundolo. And from 4-4 in the first set, he won it running away.

There was so much more – Stan Wawrinka hoped to push his renaissance run in Stockholm one step further as he takes on Tommy Paul. But it was one step too many.

And Jiri Lehecka, whose trajectory was STEEP earlier this year until back woes slowed him down, looked to make the final after upsetting No. 2 seed Stefanos Tsitsipas on Friday in the quarterfinals. And he made it.
