The big news of the day, of course, is that a countries-wide power outage in Europe meant that the entire day was cancelled in Madrid, after only a few early matches were completed.

The power went out right as Coco Gauff was doing her post-match interview on court, after (luckily for her) a relatively routine win.

There’s really no way to know for sure what Tuesday will bring.

Down in the 125 area code, Bianca Andreescu, Marina Stakusic and Victoria Mboko were all on the sked. And all went out.
