He did a great job coming back to beat Cameron Norrie on Tuesday in a match delayed a day because of country-wide power outage in Spain. And he expended more energy than his opponent, Grigor Dimitrov.
The No. 15 seed only had to get from 5-4 in the second set and through a tiebreak to win his postponed match.
The two have never met before.
All the men’s matches on Wednesday are hugely watchable.
