No changes in the top 15, as not many of the top players played regular Tour events last week, with the exception of Rublev and Medvedev and Bublik, who are outside the top 12.
The official date is Monday, but the update comes Tuesday after the China finals.
So it has been, as the cliché goes, a great week for lower-ranked players to make hay in the pair of 250s on offer in Asia this past week.
So a breakout week for Valentin Royer. And a fabulous run from the qualifying to the title for Cana-Chilean Alejandro Tabilo in Chengdu.

Alexander Bublik (KAZ): No. 19 ===========> No. 16 (The mercurial Russian-turned-Kazakh is quietly – for him – putting together a stellar season, picking up trophies, hitting a career high and maybe even giving himself a shot at the year-end finals. He takes the title in Hangzhou).

Corentin Moutet (FRA): No. 39 ===========> No. 37 (The tricky lefty is kind of a wonder – never dull, combative, petulant at times, but oh, so clever on a tennis court. He’s at a career high after making the semifinals in Hangzhou).
Tomas Martin Etcheverry (ARG): No. 63 ===========> No. 55 (It’s been a quiet year for Etcheverry, who reached a career high of No. 27 in Feb. 2024. He has lost in the first round in two-thirds of his tournaments since Indian Wells. But he moves up eight with a quarterfinal effort in Hangzhou).

Alejandro Tabilo (CHI): No. 112 ===========> No. 72 (Wrist issues curtailed the Chilean-Canadian’s season, but he’s coming on with a final at the Guangzhou Challenger last week and a run from the qualifying to the title in Chengdu. He’s back in the top 100 with a bullet).
Sebastian Korda (USA): No. 79 ===========> No. 74 (Korda’s ball striking was once considered in the same category as another rising player at the time, Jannik Sinner. But injuries have flattened his curve. He did get to Hangzhou, though, and won a round).

Valentin Royer (FRA): No. 88 ===========> No. 76 (Royer couldn’t take the final step, but had a great week in making the final in Hangzhou. He jumped into the top 100 for the first time in early August, when he qualified and won a round in Cincinnati).

Arthur Cazaux (FRA): No. 84 ===========> No. 80 (The lucky loser draw gods were SO unkind to Cazaux in New York. But he wins a round in Hangzhou and moves back into the top 80).
Dalibor Svrcina (CZE): No. 99 ===========> No. 91 (Svrcina, a very young-looking 22, makes a career high after a run from the qualfying to the quarters in Hangzhou).
Vit Kopriva (CZE): No. 102 ===========> No. 92 (Back in the top 100 for the first time since last March, when he jumped in for the first time. He makes the final at the Bad Waltersdorf Challenger).

Nikoloz Basilashvili (GEO): No. 114 ===========> No. 104 (It’s been a looooooong comeback to the top 100 for the former No. 16, who’s been grinding it out in the Challengers and finally is starting to get to the ATP level. His effort from the qualifying to the quarters in Chengdu gets him SO close – less than 40 points away. And he’ll be looking to get in there before the end of the season to avoid the qualifying at a Slam for the first time since Jan. 2023. A year ago, he was at No. 329. In March 2024, he was outside the top 1000)
Stan Wawrinka (SUI): No. 137 ===========> No. 129 (Wawrinka beat a couple of kids half his age this week, as he made the semifinals at the Saint-Tropez Challenger at age 40).
Moez Echargui (TUN): No. 175 ===========> No. 142 (At 32, Echargui wins the Saint-Tropez Challenger and moves to a career high. He came into the week south of $250,000 in career earnings. And despite playing at the Challenger level for more than a decade, had only once even made a semifinal. And yet, Echargui has now won three of the last four Challengers he has played – the very definition of a late bloomer).

Yibing Wu (CHN): No. 196 ===========> No. 158 (The former can’t-miss junior prospect has been decimated by injuries and is now 25. But he makes a great run in Hangzhou – including a tight win over Daniil Medvedev in the quarterfinals)

Alexander Bublik (KAZ)(No. 16)
Corentin Moutet (FRA)(No. 37)
Valentin Royer (FRA) (No. 76)
Dalibor Svrcina (CZE) (No. 91)
Emilio Nava (USA) (No. 90)
Dino Prizmic (CRO) (No. 115)
Moez Echargui (TUN) (No. 142)
Alex Barrena (ARG) (No. 188)
Rodrigo Pacheco Mendez (MEX) (No. 196)
Dan Added (FRA) (No. 206)

Jaume Munar (ESP): No. 37 ===========> No. 40 (Munar drops the points from winning the Bad Waltersdorf Challenger a year ago).

Adrian Mannarino (FRA): No. 53 ===========> No. 60 (Mannarino, impressive in New York, loses in the first round in Hangzhou and drops points from making the Chengdu quarterfinals a year ago).
Yunchaokete Bu (CHN): No. 74 ===========> No. 89 (By making the Hangzhou semis a year ago and losing in the first round to Zhang Zhizhen this year, he drops. Bu has a semifinal in Beijing to defend coming up, too).
Marin Cilic (CRO): No. 59 ===========> No. 97 (Cilic made his move a year ago in Hangzhou, as he came back from nearly two years away with a knee injury and won the tournament. But he loses in the first round to Nishesh Basaravedd this year, and drops those points).

Yannick Hanfmann (GER): No. 134 ===========> No. 159 (Hanfmann made the Chengdu semis a year ago. This year he was beaten by Nicolai Budkov Kjaer in the first round of qualifying).
Juncheng Shang (CHN): No. 138 ===========> No. 238 (Shang, still only 20, had surgery back in the spring and is slowly coming back. He retired in his first two tournament of the season – in Hong Kong and at the Australian Open. And the he didn’t return until Toronto. He lost his openers there, in Cincinnati and the US Open. He lost in the second round in Chengdu – which was progress. But, given he won it a year ago, that meant a big drop).
