Two notables in Athens on Thursday as Novak Djokovic looked to put back-to-back wins on the board against the capable Nuno Borges.

And No. 2 seed Lorenzo Musetti, who narrowly escaped a serious challenge from 40-year-old Stan Wawrinka, tried to keep his dream of Turin alive against the also capable Alexandre Muller.

Muller had a long one as well – he went three tiebreaks with Tomas Martin Etcheverry on Wednesday, clocking in at 3h04. Musetti went 2h25. So a quick turnaround for both, with Musetti playing the evening match starting well after 7 p.m. And Muller didn’t have much.

As for Borges, he was going toe-to-toe with Djokovic. But his knee started to bother him halfway through the second set. And that was pretty much it for that.
