If the semifinal against Aussie wild card Kimberly Birrell was a good bit of draw luck, it was a bigger challenge for Victoria Mboko in the Adelaide final, as she faced No. 3 seed Mirra Andreeva.

In the end, she sort of hit the wall and Andreeva was just too solid.

Unfortunately, the powers-that-be decided to put both finals on at the same time.
