MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

ATP Rankings Report – As of Feb. 9, 2026

WHY IS THIS MAN SMILING? You don't see it much from Mannarino. But it happened here.

Only one ATP event last week as the rest of the tennis planet mostly played Davis Cup qualifiers.

So a great week for Félix Auger-Aliassime to grab a title when he took a last-minute wild card into Montpellier.

And a few others, including Martin Damm, reached career highs.

For the complete, updated ATP Tour rankings for Monday, click here.

Felix Auger-Aliassime (CAN): No. 8 =========> No. 6
(A last-minute decision to take a wild card into Montpellier to defend his title paid off for the Canadian, who moves (perhaps temporarily) back to No. 6 in the world).

Arthur Rinderknech (FRA): No. 31 =========> No. 28
(Rinderknech took a pass on Montpellier to play Davis Cup. But he still moves up three spots).

Adrian Mannarino (FRA): No. 70 =========> No. 51
(Just 20 points from getting back into the top 50 after making the Montpellier final, his first final in France).

Luca Nardi (ITA): No. 106 =========> No. 97
(Nardi made the quarters in Montpellier).

Stan Wawrinka (SUI): No. 113 =========> No. 106
(Wawrinka won a round in Montpellier, but ran into eventual champion Auger-Aliassime after that. Still, he’s creeping back to the top 100).

Titouan Droguet (FRA): No. 150 =========> No. 120
(The qualifier got all the way to the Montpellier semis, where he was the only player to take a set off eventual champion Auger-Aliassime).

Martin Damm in action in Australian Open qualifying in January.

Martin Damm (USA): No. 160 =========> No. 130
(The qualifier made the semifinals in Montpellier, making a big jump. It’s another career high. A year ago in March, he was outside the top 700).

Dane Sweeny (AUS): No. 151 =========> No. 138
(Sweeny has won a ton at the ITF level, and finally nails down his first career Challenger title in Brisbane. But it takes just so much more to REALLY make a leap in the rankings; it’s crazy).

Colton Smith (USA): No. 161 =========> No. 142
(Smith wins the Cleveland Challenger).

Valentin Vacherot (MON) (No. 25)
Eliot Spizziri (USA) (No. 68)
Raphael Collignon (BEL) (No. 69)
Filip Misolic (AUT) (No. 76)
Adolfo Daniel Vallejo (PAR) (No. 101)
Francisco Maestrelli (ITA) (No. 108)
Titouan Droguet (No. 120)
Martin Damm (USA) (No. 130)
Dane Sweeny (AUS) (No. 138)
Daniel Merida (ESP) (No. 152)
Arthur Géa (FRA) (No. 156)

Alex de Minaur (AUS): No. 6 =========> No. 8
(De Minaur drops as Auger-Aliassime rises. But that’s mostly because of timing. The stagger in the schedule this year compared to last mean his points from making the Rotterdam final a year ago drop – before he has a chance to defend them this week. He’s the top seed. And he drew Arthur Fils in the first round).

Tomas Machac (CZE): No. 28 =========> No. 31
(Machac retired against Arthur Gea in the second round in Montpellier, with the knee issue again. He’s retired far too many times over the last year and you’d think it’s quite concerning).

Denis Shapovalov (CAN): No. 25 =========> No. 40
(Shapovalov, like de Minaur, finds his points from winning a tournament last year – in his case, in Dallas – falling off before he even has a chance to defend. He gets a qualifier in the first round).

Hubert Hurkacz (POL): No. 52 =========> No. 70
(Hurkacz was outsted in the first round in Montpellier by Pablo Carreño Busta. But the points dropping are from his semifinal effort in Rotterdam a year ago, where he lost to eventual champion Carlos Alcaraz).

Mattia Bellucci (ITA): No. 74 =========> No. 107
(The Italian went from the qualfying to the semis in Rotterdam a year ago – beating Medvedev and Tsitsipas before falling to de Minaur. It was a great run. But he didn’t play last week. And he’s set to meet Brandon Nakashima in the first round of Dallas).

Yoshihito Nishioka (JPN): No. 131 =========> No. 157
(Nishioka, then ranked No. 67, was a quarterfinalist in Dallas a year ago, and those points drop off. He played Davis Cup last week, and isn’t playing an ATP event this week).
