From an embarrassment of riches nearly 24 hours a day this week, we’re down to just one match: the singles final in Santiago.

Acapulco and Dubai (where things are grim at the moment) finished Saturday. For the tournament – a nothingburger in the grand scheme of things – it was fortuitous. Because had the finals been on Sunday, they would have been cancelled.

The qualifying at Indian Wells starts on Sunday, but only for the women.
