The men start their qualifying at Indian Wells. And two Canadians squeezed in, in the late going.
Both Liam Draxl and Alexis Galarneau were in action on Monday with Galarneau pulling off a terrific win against France’s Luca Van Assche.
Another face to look out for was … David Goffin!
Goffin finished his 2025 season at the Paris indoor. But he disappeared until a couple of weeks ago, when he played Challngerse in France and lost opening-round three-setters to Giulio Zeppieri and Joel Schwartzler. It didn’t go much better on Monday.
