A rare occasion where both the men’s and women’s finals are played on the same day at a combined 1000.

On the men’s side, Daniil Medvedev spoiled the “Sincaraz” party by beating Carlos Alcaraz in the semis. Good to see him back on the comeup. But he didn’t have enough.

And on the women’s side, the most in-form players this year met again, just as they did in January in the Australian Open final. And it was another barnburner, with Sabalenka getting over the hump.
