Three Canadians on the Saturday sked in Miami, with Félix Auger-Aliassime making his debut after a bye, and Gabriel Diallo and Alejandro Tabilo playing their second matches.

Diallo went out, but FAA is through. And Tabilo pulled off another upset over a top player in defeating Andrey Rublev.

Also opening their tournaments are Sinner and Zverev, and reigning champion Jakub Mensik.

Mensik needed three, but he got through.
