MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

Coco Gauff scratched and clawed her way to the Rome women’s singles final.

Meanwhile, Elina Svitolina just sort of got there unnoticed – until she upset Iga Swiatek in the semifinals. And then came up with a banger to take out Gauff in the final.

It was to be a thin day – just the women’s final, and two men’s doubles semifinals, on the docket.

But with the rain Saturday, the men’s singles had to be completed. And Jannik Sinner finished the job.

And the second women’s doubles semifinals had to be played as well.
