Open Court

MORE TENNIS THAN YOU'LL EVER NEED

WTA Tour – Monday, July 15, 2024 final results

Unlike the higher-ranked men, who have flocked to some of these typically under-resourced post-Wimbledon clay court events (Hello, Rafa!), the women haven’t taken to the concept as much.

But as they have to transition back to clay from grass, in preparation for the Olympics back at Roland Garros in less than two weeks, only a few are taking part.

The top seed in Budapest is Diana Shnaider, a late call to the Russian Olympic team.

In Palermo, Zheng Qinwen and Karolina Muchova, out early at Wimbledon, took wild cards.

(Palermo and Budapest six hours ahead of EDT; Iasi is seven hours ahead)
