Thursday was the biggest moment of Canadian Alexis Galarneau’s career so far.
Never has he been this close to qualifying for his first career Grand Slam main draw. And he had to beat a rising young Italian star to do it.
After a pair of comeback wins that can only amp up his confidence, he was never been in a better position to do it. And he came SO close, only to fall just a bit short.
