The second “Andy Murray Live” charity exhibition in Glasgow, Scotland last week more than doubled the amount of money raised in its first incarnation in 2016.
Last year, $400,000 US went to Unicef and the Young People’s Futures” charity. This year, more than $900,000 will be split between Unicef and another Scottish charity, Sunny-sid3up.
“Being able to support children and those in need is really important to me. The money raised will make a real difference in Scotland and around the world,” Murray said in a press release.
It was definitely worth donning the tam and wig.
