“Small elbow intervention” for Djokovic

A report in the Swiss newspaper Blick Friday morning stated Novak Djokovic had a procedure done on his right hand at a clinic just outside Basel, Switzerland.

The reports are that it was not a major thing, that a floating bone fragment in the hand was removed arthroscopically.

However Djokovic himself, on his website, said it was a “small intervention on his elbow”.

After the Australian Open, Djokovic travelled to Prague to get yet another opinion on the ongoing elbow issue that persists despite six months of rest.

Diagnosis essentially being a process of elimination, perhaps this procedure may prove beneficial.
