After three weeks of grinding it out on the Futures circuit in Turkey, Canadian Rebecca Marino now has an official WTA Tour ranking.
Officially, the comeback kid is at No. 735, up from No. 917 after her first title two weeks ago.
In fact, Marino’s true ranking is about No. 633. Ranking points from low-level events take an extra week to be tabulated.
Her Turkey totals: 17 match wins, one walkover, only one set lost – and three identical plaques. Of the other 34 sets, only two went past 6-4.
Marino now heads home for a break before going back out for more.
