
It’s all hugs for Mahesh Bhupathi and Leander Paes after Paes posted his record 43rd consecutive Davis Cup doubles win, with captain Bhupathi on the bench.
These two have been at odds since the partnership that turned them into rock stars had a notoriously acrimonious end. Even when they reunited for Davis Cup, and later briefly on Tour, it was cold as ice.
In 2012, Bhupathi called their relationship “a laughing stock.” After the Rio Olympics, Bhupathi didn’t hold back.
And last year, there was the “Davis Cup drama”
But it’s all hugs and kisses when you win.
